Over 50 years ago, Vince & Michele Farias started Farias Surf & Sport in Surf City as a beach rental shop. Over the years the business has grown and evolved into LBI’s largest and most trusted surf & beach lifestyle shop. The legacy of the family business expands and continues on with the addition of Five 0 Six Surf Boutique, founded by Vince & Michele’s oldest grandchild, Sarah Jordan.

ABOUT FIVE 0 SIX

In May of 2016, just a few short weeks after graduating from the College of Charleston, Sarah opened Five 0 Six Surf Boutique. After spending years working in her family’s surf shops each summer and eventually taking the role of full time women’s buyer, her experience with the surf industry and retail sales created a passion for curating clothing collections that were unique and trendy, yet timeless and classic. Officially opening the doors to the boutique on Memorial Day Weekend of 2016 - Five 0 Six Boutique is a small women's boutique featuring curated coastal inspired apparel, swimwear and accessories for women 15 to 55+.

With name brands, local makers, and female-founded businesses being a core category of the boutique. Loyal customers and visitors alike constantly mention their love for the collections - with clothing and finds they have not seen elsewhere. Aiming to provide an exceptional in-store experience, with a product selection that is constantly evolving, pop-up shops with local makers and artists, special events and community engagement - Five 0 Six is becoming a destination retail location that brands and customers alike are seeking out.

Florida

Sarah’s husband graduated from Flagler, and she fell in love with Saint Augustine & the small town feel of this coastal city. Six years after opening her Surf City location she opened the doors to her second location in St. Augustine, Florida in November of 2022.

the name

Sarah & her three siblings, parents & gaggle of animals spent every summer living above the storefront that eventually became Five 0 Six! The name is a homage to her summer home and all the years she spent growing up there as an island summer baby, and is the actual address of the store in Surf City, 506 N Long Beach Boulevard!
